Phnom Penh Techo International Airport Opens, Official Ceremony Next Month

Phnom Penh Techo International Airport (PTIA) is now officially open, with its grand inauguration ceremony slated for October 20, coinciding with Prime Minister Hun Manet’s birthday. Developed in three phases, the completed first phase can accommodate 15 million passengers annually, with capacity expanding to 30 million by 2030 (phase two) and 45 million by 2050 (phase three). PTIA is poised to significantly boost Cambodia’s aviation, tourism, logistics, real estate, and regional trade sectors, aiming to become a crucial dual-hub for passenger and cargo in Southeast Asia.
