Myanmar Military Intensifies Operations Near Myawaddy, Villages Brace for Advance

Myanmar, – Myanmar military forces have recently intensified operations in the Myawaddy region, implementing strategies that include blockading the Asia Highway near the Myanmar-Thailand border and designating the Karen National Union (KNU) as a terrorist organization. Villages in the vicinity of Myawaddy are reportedly preparing for potential military capture.

The military is also utilizing drones to expand its reconnaissance capabilities and conducting multi-pronged attacks along the Kawkareik-Myawaddy axis. These efforts aim to consolidate control over strategic routes and areas within the region.
