Four Pakistani Men Arrested for Kidnapping and Extortion in Sihanoukville

Four Pakistani men were arrested in Sihanoukville for kidnapping and extortion. On September 1, they intentionally crashed into a victim’s motorcycle, forced him into their car, beat him, and extorted $12,500 via phone transfer. They then transported the victim to a hotel in Kampot, where they continued to assault him, recorded a video, and demanded an additional $30,000 from his friends. Following a report from the victim’s friends, Sihanoukville police rescued the victim and apprehended the four suspects in Kampot on September 2.
