Cambodian National Police Officers to Undergo Disaster Response Training in South Korea

Fifteen Cambodian National Police officers, including ten from the National Police General Commissariat and five from the Police Academy of Cambodia, will participate in a capacity-building program on “Disaster Response and Emergency Medical Services in Cambodia (2025-2027)” in the Republic of Korea from September 7 to 20, 2025.

This initiative, supported by Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha and coordinated by Secretary of State Touch Visalsok with KOICA, aims to strengthen the officers’ skills in disaster and emergency protection, firefighting, and various rescue operations by learning from South Korea’s advanced systems to enhance Cambodia’s safety.
