Cambodia Reports Thai Military Gunfire at An Ses, Upholds Ceasefire

The Cambodian Ministry of National Defense reported that the Thai military initiated two rounds of gunfire against Cambodian forces at the An Ses area in Preah Vihear province on September 27, 2025, between 11:52 AM and 12:46 PM, causing damage to some structures. Cambodia’s forces exercised high self-restraint and strictly adhered to the ceasefire agreement, which took effect on July 28, 2025. As of 6:30 PM, the situation had calmed; however, Cambodia remains vigilant and ready to defend its territorial integrity, reiterating its commitment to the ceasefire and calling on Thailand to uphold it with constructive and sincere cooperation for regional peace and stability.
